Notre Dame is desperate for a win in the midst of their three game losing streak.  Boston College is 2-1, but is a team full of questions.  The Irish and Eagles always seem to come down to the end of the game in a tough battle, and that has both coaches nervous.

Notre Dame's Brian Kelly is looking to get his team back on track.  BC coach Frank Spaziani is seeking confidence with a team that won closer-than-expected games over Weber State and Kent State and then got shut-out by a Virginia Tech team that lost to James Madison.

The Irish, though, have played the tougher schedule and have been more consistent.  Dayne Crist continues to be the starter, while BC is leaning towards a freshman with no experience as the possible starter.

With the Irish struggling so much, many fans are calling for Kelly to be fired (likely trying to justify their love of the overly arrogant Weiss and his poor management abilities).  Yet Kelly has stayed strong through it all and is teaching his players strong ethics.

The Irish have more talent and have had to refocus after last week's embarrassment at home to Stanford.  BC has no direction right now.  The Irish need one victory to begin turning the tide for a possible great season in 2011, and to salvage 2010.  They should get it in Boston.
